Joy Blog
What brings
you joy?
Hi, I am Amy Vandermark – and my favorite question to ask new and old friends is:
What brings you the most joy?
The posts that I make on this blog are the ways I find joy. There will be snippets from organization meetings and mixers, work engagements, learning new hobbies, book club recaps, and so much more.
In addition, I appreciate all those who have found their way here and those still on the journey.
Here’s to finding joy in each moment.

Equally important to me finding joy is my ability to share it with others. I hope that within this blog you will find only a desire to build others up and ways that I have accomplished promoting community.
Finally, let’s build for better!

I
Haters !!
Wait, what did she say?
Yes . . .
Let’s rest easy and acknowledge the elephant in the room: I love HATERS.
Firstly, I love people who can’t stop saying my name because that means they are keeping my name in the forefront of everyone’s mind. I can’t pay for better PR
Have I made mistakes?
GOODNESS YES!
Have I done things that would make the best human find hate in their heart?
I DUNNO – MAYBE? . . . (I hope not) . . .
Moreover, the most important thing is that we learn, and hopefully not do it again.
I hope that you will be able to handle my unconditional love for haters.
Secondly, if you spend any time with me, I will eventually sound like a broken record by telling you that I don’t have enough energy to hate on another – I have way too many GREAT things that I am destined to do and currently working on than to waste my breath on things that don’t concern me.
OK – hopefully that puts all your worries to bed.ย
Finally, maybe, just maybe, you will also stop caring what other people say and think, and be able to focus your energy on things that truly matter.ย
Don’t mind me . . . just planting seeds over here . . . ๐ป
